Kids with powers, the CIA, taking notes and experiments that were never supposed to see. Daylight sounds fake, right? Oh, it's not. I'm your host, Amanda. And welcome back to Let's Get Weirdish. Tonight we're diving into a story that lies somewhere between classified government, vi psychic phenomenon, and our deepest what ifs. We're talking children. Abilities, secrets, and one agency that might've been watching, so buckle up. It's the 1950s and sixties, the Cold War is on. The CIA is obsessed with one question. How can we control mines under projects like Project MK Ultra. The CIA conducted more than 130 research programs across prisons, hospitals, universities, trying to manipulate mental states brain function and behavior. They used LSD, hypnosis, sensory deprivation, isolation. The documents say. Some of the experiments even occurred without the subject's consent. If this doesn't sound like the opening scene in Pineapple Express, I don't know what does. You're probably thinking, okay, adults, maybe spies. Maybe soldiers, but what about the kids? Some declassified documents show MK Ultra sub-projects labeled experiments with children. in the late fifties into the early sixties, the CIA indirectly funded psychiatric experiments in Canada led by Donald Ewin Cameron. for psychic driving memory eraser, extreme brain techniques, so mind control, children, government. That's our starting line. Now. What about the abilities that go beyond mind control? The CIA wasn't just after drug spies, they also got curious about remote viewing, the ability to see things without being there. Air, um, hello 11 from Stranger Things. Remote viewing is defined as the mind's ability to collect impressions about a distant or unseen subject beyond the ordinary senses. Enter for Project Stargate officially declassified now. The project ran roughly from the early 1970s to 1995 under various names. I can't pronounce the first one, but we'll try. S Cite Skine, scan it, grill Flame, sun Streak, and was overseen by the CIA and the Defense Intelligence Agency, which is also known as the DIA. According to CIA documents the program aimed to investigate anomalous phenomena, including parapsychology. There was a declassified slide that said remote viewing could be highly controlled and unique intelligence collection capability. With minimal equipment, just people and their minds. So if we wanna think about it on those terms, the government isn't having to build anything. They're not having to spend all of this money. They're literally sending you in a room, blindfolding you, giving you coordinates and saying, Hey, what is going on here? And these kids could tell them, in one DIA slide from that era, there's a note and I quote, Chinese scientists claim to have detected remote viewing during their experiments with children. So what does the US do? They wanna do the same thing because they didn't want China to get ahead of them. While the US slide didn't necessarily broadcast, we used kids, that idea was floating around children psychic potential intelligence applications. I'm gonna spit the facts at you guys. the CIA's screening for remote viewing talent document describes a two stage screening process of several hundred people, then picking the best for their trials. While these people were mostly adults, the concept of screening for psycho energetic talent aligns with the idea of younger subjects being more quote unquote open. So the question is, were the kids quietly a part of this research or maybe the next wave of research? And when we're talking children with abilities, I don't mean I predicted I'd get ice cream. We're talking about things like telepathy, remote perception, influencing electronics, even seeing events before they happen. One document declassified by the CIA references the Chinese story of 11-year-old Tang Yu and Friend Chin zing. And I may have said that last name wrong, so do not come for me. They lived in a remote Chinese village and Tang had a vision of symbols, which matched the package. His friend later pulled from his pocket. The CIA document titled China's Psychic Children Covers That. My question is though, how did the government find out about this child? Were there rumors through the village and then the government got involved or did Tang Yu's family contact the government themselves? On the US side of things, we have MK Ultra Sub projects explicitly labeled Experiments with children. Example, Sub-Project 1 0 3, experiments with children in the Crest, FOIA database. so what does this mean? In normal people terms, it means the CIA or the research funded by them. We're exploring children's nonverbal communication, perhaps ESP at a young age. imagine a kid who, without knowing how, since when they're being watched. A kid who draws symbols. They have no logical way of knowing a kid whose brain reacts differently when told they're being observed. now we don't have a full verified list of operations where children were recruited as psychic assets, but there are whispers documents. And declassified hints that the research apparatus considered children as part of the pool. And if that's true, it opens up heavy questions. What happened to these kids? Were they recruited into programs? Were they studied, then released, discarded? As many secrets as our government keeps. I don't see them just releasing these children back into the wild. I feel like they would keep them there long term, but that's just my opinion. That's not factual. I haven't found any kind of mainstream confirmed case of a government operated child, remote viewer corpse, but I have found enough leaks, FOIA documents and anomalous stories that make me say this could be one of those we'll never fully know chapters. But isn't that the case with everything the government is involved in? Check? Yes. Here's the thought. If you were a kid who suddenly discovered you could see things, others couldn't, what happens when the government takes an interest? What happens when you become data instead of a child? It's scary. Have any of you seen that TikTok floating around of the man walking through the woods with his dog and he's like filming his dog? Oh, you're so cute. Whatever. And he goes around a corner and he realizes somebody is down this path and he. Pulls his camera up and there is a woman holding what I'm assuming her child's hand her child is levitating off the ground and is like flip floopy, like with her hands, like I'm dancing right here in the air. And he says something or makes a noise and the mom realizes that he's there, yanks the kid down and they take off running. Some people might say it's ai, but you can tell this is an older video. Was it filmed with a smartphone? Absolutely. But it is not the new AI high quality experience that you expect to see. This is movement. This is grainy. I feel like it's real. And if you're a Stranger Things fan like I am. Also, I'm very heartbroken that the last season is coming. I knew it was gonna end sometime, but I'm still not prepared, so I'm gonna have to re-watch it like I do every year. But Stranger Things was based off of the MK Ultra and Stargate. And if you don't believe me, look it up. Now, of course, we haven't seen aliens running around unless you wanna look at that mall in in Tampa, Florida, because I do believe that happened. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, go Google that. They're gonna say it didn't. But when I say they called 120 squad cars to that mall and they said, oh, there was teenagers shooting fireworks. Why are there no videos? Why are there no videos of fireworks? Because I can promise you if kids were in there to shoot fireworks off their buddies and everybody else would have filmed that everybody was running for their life, okay? From these nine, 10 foot tall creatures. It was wild. What actually happened. I'm not sure, and I know we're getting off subject here, but if you've heard of the theory that. Our government is going to produce a mass illusion, like holographics of aliens coming and then making a one world government. This is what I'm talking about. What if what happened in Tampa wasn't actually real? It looked real to everybody there. But what if it was holograms? You see the billboards where they have wells coming out of the dang thing. The screens in New York City or at Disney, why wouldn't our government use that to trick us? And I'm not saying aliens aren't real, they probably are. Yo aliens, if you're coming, come get me first. We want to get off this planet. Or at least me and mine do. My husband might not go willingly, but if I go, he's gotta go. Right? And I'm not saying aliens aren't real. I think they are. Everybody's opinion differs. Some say, oh, they're actually fallen angels, or this or that, or whatever that is besides the point. But anyway, we need to get back on track. Okay, so. What we do know is that MK Ultra ended publicly. We know Stargate was terminated, but what happened behind the scenes for MK Ultra? Most of the documents were destroyed in 1973 under CIA Director Richard Helm's order. Why? If that doesn't scare you, I don't know what will, why would you destroy all of these documents? What was in there, and they only found this out because the church committee and Rockefeller Commission investigated this in 1977, and all of the documents had been trashed. For Stargate in 1995, the program was officially ended. After the CIA review concluded the remote viewers didn't produce reliable, actionable intelligence. But the weird part is that when these programs ended, the scientists who were associated with them popped up in private foundations. Teaching, remote viewing to civilians, controlling consciousness courses, et cetera. some form remote viewers now offer$3,000 courses, and if you know, you know, I'm sure you've heard of'em. And as far as children being involved, because the research areas were secret and under documented, kids recruited or studied, might have slipped into private research, off book activities or simply vanished from public record. So yeah, the agency said we're done. The documents say we're terminated, but quietly the interest, the possibilities, and the talent might have shifted into the shadows. And if you were one of those kids, you might never know you had a file. You might never know you were part of the dataset. You may have heard the rumors that when kids were tested to get into the gifted program in school, this is actually what was happening. They were putting headphones on these kids and seeing if they could hear different frequencies, and if you could hear a certain frequency, you were pushed into gifted and watched. And you might also remember, because I do, having them hold cards in front of you, but you're looking at the backside and they wanted you to guess what kind of card was going to come next, whether it was a color, a shape, an animal. All of the things. If you remember that, let me know because I remember it very well. What if the CIA found a child who could reliably remote view? What if that kid grew up and their ability changed? But the file stayed locked. What if the next generation is already walking around us? Adults with latent abilities. Undisclosed dozers, probably still under observation because they played a lot with the race in the mind. So what if these kids were in this program and boom, mind raced, and you have no memory of ever being there. And if you're thinking that couldn't happen. A lot of people thought the CIA wasn't actually doing this with people running tests on psychic abilities, but they were, and they did. And then they destroyed the evidence. What did they find? And not for nothing. All of these kids who go missing in foster care and then orphanages. Yeah. I think a lot of them are sex trafficked. But what if children in these facilities start showing abilities? The government can just come pick'em up. Who's gonna stop'em? Nobody. And if you did, you're probably gonna be at the bottom of a river or paid off, or they might have people there in on it too. And this may sound farfetched to you, but it's not. Look it up. Look these documents up and you're going to see exactly what I'm telling you today. What if there are kids today still undergoing screening for abilities under the guise of gifted programs? National Labs or maybe just science fairs. Do you wanna hear my theory? You're going to, even if you don't wanna, and I have several theory A, the kids were part of the program, but. Never publicly acknowledged they were studied, pruned, maybe some recruited and some left behind. Theory B, kids weren't the primary target. kids were used as easy test subjects or baseline controls. Young brains, fewer biases and more plasticity. Theory C, research on these kids never ended. It just went dark. Into private research, corporate labs or international collaborations, meaning the CIA might've handed off or outsourced the kids with abilities file. Here's a question for you. If you discovered you could do something weird, and maybe you did as a kid, would you volunteer this in public school or would you keep it quiet? And what if you were approached? If you've ever met someone who just knows things they shouldn't or if you were one of those weird kids growing up like myself, maybe you've got your own CIA file and maybe it's time we talk about it, I. So what do you think? Do you think there's kids walking around with these abilities and now everybody just keeps it hidden? Do you think the government is still watching these kids running tests on them at school, seeing what they can do? I do. And if you listen to this episode today and you're thinking, Hey, I kind of did know something when I was younger, or I met a kid who could see the unseen, drop me an email. Send me a voice memo. You already know. I want to hear it and send that to Let's get weirdish pod@gmail.com. Stay curious, stay cautious, and most importantly, keep it weird.
